- Among the Greek practices working at The Ellinikon
Pavlos Chatziangelidis founded 314 in 2004, and the practice has published more residential work on the Athens Riviera than any other office — Vouliagmeni, Voula, Glyfada and Elliniko, in a consistent sculptural white language.
A correction we are making to ourselves
This file previously described 314 as the practice with the most built private houses on this coast. That is not supportable. The portfolio is the densest on the Riviera, but a large share of it — Reve en Suspens in Voula, Allure Blanche, Chrysalis, Pavilion Terraces — is apartment houses and small complexes rather than single-family villas.
What is fair, and remains fair, is the second half: the language is the most recognisable on this coastline. Nobody drives from Glyfada to Vouliagmeni without seeing it.
What to ask them
Which built project is closest to the house you want, and can you visit it. That is the right question for any practice and it is the one that separates a portfolio from a proof. The other terms worth arguing about come after it.
If a single-family house on a difficult plot is the brief, ISV and Tsolka have the deeper villa record.
