The distance is the point
Sixteen kilometres from Elliniko in a straight line, and on the wrong side of the city. Everything else on this list sits broadly between the coast and the centre. This one does not, and a household on the Riviera should treat it as a destination rather than a convenience.
The Riviera connection
Botrini also has a restaurant on this coast: Ora, one of the four rooms at One&Only Aesthesis in Glyfada. That is the relevant fact for a resident — the Chalandri house is where the reputation was built, and the Glyfada room is where it has been brought fifteen minutes from home.
Which of the two is the better evening is a question we cannot answer, because nobody here has eaten at either. It is, though, the right comparison to be making.
The star dates from the 2024 selection, as all standing Athens stars do.
