Keys are not stars

The Michelin Key is an award for hotels, introduced recently and given on the quality of the stay. The Michelin star is an award for restaurants, given on the cooking. They are separate lists, separate inspections and separate criteria, and they happen to share a logo.

The Dolli holds two Keys. Dolli·s holds no star. Both facts are true at once, and the second gets lost every time.

A Key is a verdict on the bed. A star is a verdict on the plate. Nobody is obliged to have both.

What is actually on offer

A rooftop at close range to the Acropolis, in a category where the view is priced separately whether or not it is itemised. That is not a criticism — it is the same trade as a seafront table in Vouliagmeni, and worth making on the right evening.

A table, and the right one

We do not run a booking service. We do know which rooms are worth a Tuesday, who is cooking rather than plating, and which kitchens will send someone to your house. Ask and we will tell you what we would do.
