Saint Laurent, Astir Marina

Store, womenswear and accessories · Astir Marina, Vouliagmeni

The sharpest silhouette on the promenade, in the least sharp setting for it. The evening shop on a daytime quay.

A Saint Laurent campaign portrait: a woman in a sharp shouldered jacket against marble.

Saint Laurent holds a unit on the marina promenade at Vouliagmeni, beside two other houses from the same group.

The evening shop

Almost everything else on this promenade dresses a daytime that runs from a boat to a lunch. Saint Laurent does not. The house silhouette is hard, urban and built for after dark.

That makes it the useful address here for a household whose social life includes Athens proper — which, on the evidence of how people actually live on this coast, most do. The private calendar is the piece on what that year looks like.

The rest of the promenade is in the pillar file.

An introduction is worth more than a list

In this category the name of a shop is close to useless. The name of a person inside it is not. Tell us what you are actually trying to buy and we will point you at the door and, where we can, at the person behind it.

  • 01 A human reads it. Always.
  • 02 We name names, and we say why.
  • 03 Any commercial relationship is disclosed up front.
  • 04 Nothing you send us is sold to anyone.

Where we earn a referral fee we say so on the page it appears. Nothing in the editorial rankings is for sale. Read the charter.

What is this about?

We reply within one working day. Your details are never sold or passed on without your say-so.

What opened, what closed, what quietly changed hands, and the one thing worth your Saturday. Read by roughly four hundred people who live between Alimos and Sounio, and by the people who advise them.
