When smaller is the point
A child arriving mid-way through a school career, into a new country and a new language of playground, is doing something difficult. Scale makes it harder. That is the argument here, and for some families it outweighs everything else on the list.

The subject offer at sixth form. A smaller school runs fewer A Level options and some appear only when enough pupils choose them. Ask what actually ran last year, not what is advertised.
