The File
Cecil Wright & Partners
Boutique brokerage, 50 metres and above · Three offices: London, Monaco, Jersey
Twenty-four people, three offices, and the only house on this list that says outright it specialises above fifty metres — and that it does not want the biggest fleet.
Commercial relationship
LivingTheta earns referral fees from brokers in this category where an introduction leads to a booking. That is a standing commercial interest in you chartering, and it is disclosed on every page of this site that touches the category. There is no agreement with Cecil Wright & Partners specifically, nothing has been received from it, and it has not paid for this page.
- Incorporated
- 20 February 2013 Companies House 08412005. The firm states no founding year anywhere on its own site, so this comes from the register rather than from them.
- Behind it
- Chris Cecil-Wright Twenty years at Edmiston before founding it.
- Offices
- 3 London, Monaco, Jersey. Twenty-four people listed on the team page — the firm publishes no headcount, so that is a count of names.
- Charter fleet size
- Deliberately not published, and they say why Their own words: "We are not looking to manage the biggest charter fleet in the business. Our goal is to manage a small fleet of the best yachts and look after them well." The refusal is more informative than a number.
- The specialism
- Superyachts above 50 metres Stated on their homepage. No other house here commits to a size floor in public.
- Unusual
- A dedicated Feadship practice Feadship gets its own top-level navigation with for-sale, for-charter and heritage sections. No other firm here runs a builder-specific practice.
- Ownership
- Christopher and Katherine Cecil-Wright Each recorded at Companies House holding more than 25% but not more than 50%. Independent and husband-and-wife owned.

The refusal that tells you most
We are not looking to manage the biggest charter fleet in the business. Our goal is to manage a small fleet of the best yachts and look after them well.
Everyone else on this list either publishes no number or implies a big one. This is the only house that declines and gives a reason, and for a client choosing between scale and attention it is the clearest statement of position available.
No Greek office, which for a household on this coast is the real cost of choosing them.
