The old Hilton, reopened on 23 April 2026 as Conrad’s first Greek hotel: 278 rooms, the Moralis façade kept, the city’s largest outdoor pool, and a 5,500 m² members’ club stacked on top.

Conrad Athens The Ilisian opened on 23 April 2026 in the former Hilton on Vasilissis Sofias: 278 rooms, the Moralis marble façade retained, the largest outdoor pool in the city, and House of NYNN — 5,500 square metres of members’ club — above it.
What is actually open
Byzantino Grande Brasserie, Onuki, the Athenian Lounge and Ancora Un Po at the pool. The Galaxy Supper Club, the Omega Penthouse, the Green Roof and the Waldorf Astoria Residences are announced for later in 2026 and are not operating.
That distinction matters more than usual here, because the launch coverage runs the open and the announced together — which is exactly the habit this site keeps flagging at The Ellinikon.
A club with a price list
House of NYNN publishes its membership: €4,200 a year for All House plus €840 to join, less for under-forties, under-thirties, out-of-town members and partners. Admissions are paused for now.
Set that against the Athens Club, where there is no price because there is no product, and you have the two ends of what "membership" means in this city. What a members club actually filters for is the piece that argues it out.
