Koita is a single large room on Laodikis built around a central rectangular bar. In the morning it is a microbakery and coffee counter with the dough visible at the back; by evening the same room is a dining bar with a kitchen by Pavlos Kyriakis and a cocktail list made from what the kitchen would otherwise throw away.
The gap it fills
Evening. Sofi’s shuts at half past seven and most of the specialty rooms in Glyfada close around eight. A household that wants somewhere between a café and a restaurant at nine at night has had almost nothing on this coast, and this is the clearest attempt at it.
That puts it in a different bracket from the dining rooms further along the coast — cheaper, later, and not a booking you make a week out.
