Notia Medcare

Longevity and medical centre · Glyfada

The only dedicated medical longevity centre on the Athens Riviera, opened 2026. Medical rather than spa — which is the distinction its founders insist on, and the right one.

Notia Medcare opened on Vouliagmenis Avenue in Glyfada in early 2026, around three thousand square metres, under Dr Ioannis Kalaitzis as medical and scientific director. It is aimed at executives in their late thirties upward, at perimenopause, and at athletes, and it runs primary care and one-day surgery alongside the longevity work.

Medical rather than spa, and why that is the right line

Almost everything on this coast that uses the word wellness is a hotel product with clinical vocabulary attached. This is not that, and the distinction is the founders’ own.

It is the same line this site draws through the whole category: a spa is a hospitality product and a clinic is a medical one, and the pricing of the first sometimes implies the second.

The question to put to them

Which parts of this are established diagnostic work-up, and which are elective interventions whose evidence is still emerging. Genetics, cardiometabolic profiling, VO2 max and neurocognitive testing are one thing; hyperbaric oxygen, intravenous protocols and plasma purification are another.

That is not a reason to avoid the place. It is the six questions we would put to any longevity clinic before paying, and a clinic that answers them cleanly has told you a great deal.

What it does not have

No JCI, no university hospital affiliation, no published outcome data, and no twenty-four-hour international desk of the kind the large hospitals run. It is eight months old. Insurance coverage for longevity protocols is poor, and the co-founder says so himself.

A doctor before you need one

The worst time to find a physician is the week you need one. Tell us the household: ages, existing conditions, whether you want a coordinating doctor or a specific specialist, and we will make introductions.

  • 01 A human reads it. Always.
  • 02 We name names, and we say why.
  • 03 Any commercial relationship is disclosed up front.
  • 04 Nothing you send us is sold to anyone.

Where we earn a referral fee we say so on the page it appears. Nothing in the editorial rankings is for sale. Read the charter.

What is this about?

We reply within one working day. Your details are never sold or passed on without your say-so.
